1) TFT-LCD panel requirements
The production of TFT-LCD panels mainly includes array manufacturing process, color film manufacturing process, liquid crystal cell manufacturing process and module manufacturing process. Array manufacturing process and color film manufacturing process are the places with the most stringent quality requirements, and they are also the core application scenarios of wet electronic chemicals.
Array process generally includes conductive layer deposition, cleaning, photoresist covering, photolithography exposure, development, drying, etching, photoresist stripping and other steps. In the production process, wet electronic chemicals are mainly used in the process of cleaning, developing, etching and photoresist stripping; The color filter process is similar to the use of wet electronic chemicals in the array process, and also includes multiple exposure and development operations.
2) Demand for OLED panels
The increase in OLED production capacity has led to an increase in the use of wet electronic chemicals. AMOLED is the main category of OLED. According to data from the Industry Information Network, the amount of wet electronic chemicals required for the manufacture of OLED panels per unit area is 7 times that of LCD panels.
