Value Chain Analysis of Electronic Chemicals Industry
Variety of electronic chemicals products
The upstream raw materials of electronic chemicals are basic chemical raw materials, specifically referring to alkanes and their derivatives, olefins and their derivatives, quinones, aldehydes, alcohols, inorganic acids, inorganic alkalis, inorganic salts, and industrial gases; the midstream is the manufacture of different types of electronic chemicals such as CMP materials, PCB materials, photoresists, packaging materials, and special gases; downstream applications can be divided into integrated circuits, PCB boards, and flat panels.
Electronic chemicals industry chain structure
Different product cost structures are not the same
The electronic chemicals industry includes many sub-product categories, and the cost structures of different products are also different. On the whole, the direct material cost of ultra-clean and high-purity reagents, photoresist supporting reagents, photovoltaic packaging materials, fluorine-containing fine chemicals and other products is relatively high, and the cost of direct materials accounts for more than 70%. Among them, the direct material cost of photovoltaic packaging materials accounts for the highest proportion, reaching 91.23%. In addition, the proportion of manufacturing costs of specialty gases and photo initiators has increased, but the cost of direct materials still accounts for about 60%.
The prices of different electronic chemicals vary greatly
There are many types of electronic chemicals, and different products have different characteristics such as usage, characteristics, production difficulty, and degree of sophistication, so the price difference between different products is relatively large.
